Phytocannabinoids, particularly CBD, also exert their beneficial effects when applied topically to the skin. This makes CBD an indispensable component for medical skin care, especially for problem skin. CBD can reduce skin reactions by stabilizing the skin's immune system. Irritations, allergens, bacteria or chemical substances that cause eczema cannot negatively influence the irritation threshold of the skin. This keeps the skin stable against excessive immune reactions. CBD is also known for its anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties.
In addition to cannabidiol, the CBD body lotion plus contains many other natural and active cosmetic ingredients that can break the vicious circle of irritated, reddened or itchy skin. Hemp seed oil is also beneficial for the skin as it contains many unsaturated fatty acids. The gamma-linolenic acid it contains can intervene directly in the inflammatory metabolism and thus calm irritated skin.
Shea butter, almond and sunflower oil provide dry skin with valuable, natural lipids and protect the skin. Aloe vera and dexpanthenol regenerate the skin barrier and provide moisture. The ingredient profile is ideally supplemented by liquorice root extract. Together with vitamin E, this has an antioxidant effect. The herbal ingredients of the liquorice root (Licochalkon A, Licochalkon B, Glabren) can enhance the skin-regenerating and calming effect of the rich body lotion.
