In 1998, the actiTube founder got the tip from a doctor friend to filter the smoke from the water pipe with activated carbon in order to reduce the burden on the respiratory tract. First attempts were made with an activated carbon filtered bong. Initially still very critical because he feared the loss of THC. However, he was quickly completely convinced of the advantages of filtration.
All actiTube products are made in Germany and are 100% plastic-free.
